Vivaldi´s Four Season and Gloria

The “Opera in Roma” Baroque Orchestra and internationally renowned soloists create a special atmosphere in the St. Paul’s within the walls Principally the choice of works gives an impression of an authentic concert of the baroque era! The programs of the concerts includes the work of the famous concerto for solo violin "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi

As for other choral works, also for the Gloria Vivaldi wrote introductions (ie introductory motets), which were performed before these sacred songs. There are four introductions to these Glorias: Cur Sagittas (RV 637), Jubilate, o amoeni cori (RV 639), Longe Mala, Umbrae, Terrores (RV 640), and Ostro Picta (RV 642)
